Early Hand Painted Plaster Anatomical Model
These detailed full head models don't come along too often. I've been collecting them for years and this example
I've owned for over 20. It's life sized hand painted plaster and sits on a turned wood base.
The paper label is still intact and is signed by a respected maker... " ANTONIO TARQUINI... Via ALBA 36... ROMA".
The ear has a glued crack and and some chipping on it's edge but this delicate model is still in remarkable condition.
This was a teaching model and the subject was the different layers of tissue around the skull.
The left and right sides are different.
