1870's Phrenology Head

This is an 1870's S.R. Wells & Co. molded plaster phrenology bust with printed paper labels marking the sentiments. Additional labels around the base offer books and course work on the subject and a general explanation about reading the bust. the head is a little over 10" tall and is representative of the genre. There are many replicas out there but this is the real thing.
